Coatesville High School is a member of the Ches-Mont League located in District One of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association. 

Currently, Coatesville Area High School offers 26 varsity sports with the majority of the teams having junior varsity and freshman teams.   Coatesville also offers over thirty activities and clubs. 

Among the many activities and clubs offered on campus includes a music department that features award winning performing ensembles for both instrumental and vocal music.
